Paint correction - stone chips

Over the past couple of days i've been working on the paintwork on my 4mo and over the years I've tried different techniques to paint in stone chips. Has anyone got a specific routine for doing the same and to what effect. Some fresh idea's might spark my enthusiasm.

Very funny, i'm not even through the clear coat by a long way yet.

i think you need a angle grinder 2 lb club hammer big tub of p38 filler and a couple of arosols and you will be fine mate

I thought that by looking at yours but it's not quite the finish I was looking for.

not really looking untill mine is sold then will have a proper look mate oh and don't forget you need some corse grade sandpaper to get that nice smooth finish then a couple of coats of clear nail varnish to finish it off

get yourself a proper matched touch-in kit (paints4u do a good range), degrease the panel, dab some paint in the chip so its a nice little blob, harden it off (heat lamp or direct sunlight for a few hours and leave overnight, then get some 2k+ wet and dry thats been soaked and using a block flat the repair off gently until its smooth, then go over the dull area with an RO polisher and some menzerna polish
