paceo 22
hi guys just got off the phone to GSF car parts - few easy questions - they dont stock a golf VR6 header tank, just a normal mk3 one they said. do you know if this will fit my golf vr6??also my temperature gauge on the clocks wont go above 70. in my thermostat housing i have one blue 2 pin sender and next to it a 4 pin yellow sender. GSF only stock a 2 pin blue sender, is this the one for the temperature gauge on the clocks?he also said mine shouldnt be a yellow 4 pin sensor, said it should be a brown one. legvw 0
Depending on whether you have a/c or not, you might have 2 or 3 sensors, blue, yellow, the brown is for a/c i think

Rikki 2
Yellow is the gauge control and iirc the vr6 header tank is oval shaped.....not sure if the coolant switch plugin is the same!

Lukey. 381
arent there any header tanks off newer cars that will fit in the same place? ive been trying to find one, reason being the newer style tanks are much more transparent and have the better caps on them

I looked for months to try and get an original header tank but they have been updated to the round version , hope this puts this to rest for you all .
