Under drive crank pulley (vr6) ????

i dont think they give you BHP they just let the engine spin slightly easier as there is less crank weight add a lightened flywheel as well but your idle may not be perfect

Really not worth it,

A lightened standard diameter pulley is a different matter. Some MK2 VR6 owners fit them as a matter of course due to the chassis leg clearance problem and they often report good things.

As said, with a lightweight flywheel, you do notice the difference.

You would be amazed how quickly the VR6 spins up with light pullies, light flywheel and the PAS pump disabled.

I am actually looking into a manual steering rack and electric water pump and just run the alternator off the crank.

PAS pump???

i ordered a complete gruding ( spelling) kit.... all oem size but much lighter, only under drive part is the power steering pump pulley.

I was advised that the crank underdrive will result in my water pump turning slower and creating problems

im runnning a full set of light weight pullies and light flywheel and its revs up so quick and smooth u wouldnt belive it ..... lol but as sadi just th eone is worth it u need the set and flywheel

Yeah don't get an under drive pulley set, it will just cause problems.

Light pullies in the standard size are fine.

i run the power steering one and i find it easier to turn the steering wheel .......with it being slammed i found the older one caused steering to be a bit heavier...

easy to change
