Lukey. 381
It could be the fuse, the relay, the button, the horn itself. You can check the horns easy enough, take them off and with 2 short lengths of wire touch the battery terminals, if you shit yourself that means they work, the fuse and relay you can replace and the button you can test with a multimeter, touch both ends of the buttons terminals and press the button down, you would go from no reading to getting a reading. Thats the first things you would test to try and track your problem. If you havent got a multimeter i made a little broken cicuit out of a buzzer an AA battery and wires, if you touch the button terminals with the wires and press the button it would complete the circuit and the buzzer would sound, you could check fuses the same way as AA batteries are such low ampsId check the fuses and horns themselves first its usually either of them

cornishvr6 52
no it was fitted to the car when i purchased it and didnt work previously just with the mot creeping up i would like to get the few bits sorted before hand
b19drg 0
I would be tempted to take the wheel and boss of and just make sure all the connections are ok and connected. If it has not worked since you had it , the person previously might have fitted it and not connected.
