Lukey. 381 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 if you havent done it recently get yourself a full set of vw top mount bushes and bearings, always best to start from new with suspension, as if they arent recently new theyll have worn.as for fitting its all nuts and bolts easy stuff, the fronts have the top bolt and 2 bolts at the bottom, undo the top bolt first its easier that way, youll need either a big spanner or a special top mount wrench cos you have to counter hold the threaded post to stop it spinning with the nut. Once youve got the shock off fitting is the reverse of removal, youll have to get them cambered up properly.the rears is the same as the fronts except easier as there isnt any camber alignment to worry about, just make sure the bushes are sat correctly, theres a top and bottom one on the back.easy peasy Link to post Share on other sites
