Passenger window probs?

Hi guys,

Ive just bought a nice clean 3 door VR6 with low miles after selling my Highline (I missed the 4k roar!!!)

anyway,

only prob is the passenger window will go down using the switch (either side) but it wont go up?

Any idea's?

mine seems to do the same on the rare occasion, but its seems to work again if i turn the engine off and restart it, weird!

but id love to know how to solve the problem before it starts to bug me.

but mine always works with the alarm.

this happened on mine and it turned out to be some snapped wiring. when you open the door there is a rubber boot that goes from the car body to the door, turn it anticlockwise where it connects to the car and check the cables havent come loose or snapped.

mine does that too but only sometimes, engine off, ignition on and it works fine....

Does it work ok when you get out the car with the windows open and then put key in door, lock and hold? All undone windows and sunroof should close.

I have'nt tried that,

the previous owner said that it went down and he had to use his hands to lift it up?
