turbo kit for golf 2.8 4motion

hi everyone new on here and would like sum advise. I own a 2002 golf 4motion and looking for more power turbo or supercharger preffer turbo. Whoz the best companys out there who i can buy a kit off and best price. Also would i need to up rate piston rods or would it handle the extra power .

There is no one kit out there that stands out as a buy all and fit option. Too many variables in personal preferences. Be careful with the foreign kits offered cheaply as they can end up the expensive route. Probably better to do some research and source your own parts to tailor to your liking.

In my opinion, if ur not too clued up on DIY, speak with Andy @ Storm (reading), Vince Stealth (warwick), Tim @ the Phirm or Mat at C2 (Both in Hampshire). ( &In no particular order)

These are probably the best 4 VR orientated UK based companies and I can vouch for each and every1

As far as what sort of blower u want, I personally love the sound of superchargers, but the shear power available from modern turbo kits outways the noise factor!
