Does anyone know where the fluild is going? and how do i rectify this problem?thanks, tony

supadupagt4 0
power steering fluid.. the red one...
Lukey. 381
vw does state that you should only use g000200 and not normal power steering fluid or atf fluid.Im going to be replacing my pas fluid and will be using pentosin CHF11S, it is G000200 as they make it for VW but branded themselves its cheaper than VW for the exact same fluid, they are the only company that will sell you the exact spec fluid you need outside of vw
Rikki 2
You should only use, as said CHF which you can even get at Halfrauds
supadupagt4 0
and the difference is? still not solved the problem though..
Lukey. 381
the difference is that fluid is correct and the others are wrong
Rikki 2
and the difference is? still not solved the problem though.. And the difference is you wont kill your rack from the wrong fluid! Was it a bit low and you topped it up with normal ps fluid.....it may have killed a seal and given you leak maybe only when you use it
p0u1 14
yes you need vw ps fluid or the type they recommend as normal ps fluid will destroy the seals in your pump and rack
