bungy 2
Anyone else used or seen these before? http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=6808
cabrioman 6
surly u can do that throu vag com !!!
xyber 1
Yeah, do some googling or get it on vagcom and see what options you have. All that'll do is change a total in a line of the coding. Daylight robbery!
vr6stormt 0
yep proper vag-com does that the one russ has does loads of stuff like changing ,trimming etc
xyber 1
I stand corrected, Audis of the same age it can be done, VW Skoda Seat etc have got different firmware. So that box basically contains a firmware update for a paticular module. So £40 isn't to bad. Bet eBay has cheaper though.
b road blaster 0
think you will need vag taco to do that mate
bungy 2
The single flash unit does what Vag-com can't and does additional coding. If anyone can do one touch total closure for me i'm willing to pay.
Special K 81 0
Can i just ask why the need to open windows on key fob?? my windows/sunnroof close on locking the car(total closure alarm).
bungy 2
Because i'm not using an aftermarket alarm and with the right programming it can do the same as yours.
Special K 81 0
Oh rigggghht, futty muff. What alarm you got, factory or something?? even though i got closure alarm i'd say 8 maybe 9 times outta 10 i sit there and pop the windows up y door controls.lol
bungy 2
Factory alarm but more than capable. Full closure is just handy in the summer really and another mod to tick off in the box.
Special K 81 0
this is true, pius its nifty....especially when like the other week walking away from the car , windows and sunroof open,...a very helpful and slightly concerned person said scuse me you do no your window is open!??!....i smiled and said thanks its ok...as the car locked itself and all windows etc closed up....ha ha Oh i just thought...factory alarm, i was told by an insurance company they wouldnt touch a vr6 withotut cat1 alarm!?!? bungy 2
oh right is that different bungy??Not really, it is a mk4 body but still has the VR engine with a Cosworth designed 24v head and shrick type inlet manifold. The ECU still communicates with VAG COM. Just a later, updated version of a VR6 really. These were then superseded by the R32's.

bungy 2
I spoke to someone at the weekend and met up to see what is possible. I'll be getting some stuff sorted on my car in November when I get back. There are some really good quick fixes that can be done and i'll post all the details then to let you know. A quick one is if you havn't got 12v supply in your boot the loom is there on the drivers side behind the panel. Just get the socket from a scrappy and fit.
