Well I wait to be proven wrong but as far as I know you need to have the chip in the key coded to the immobiliser and that can only be done by specialists - the stealers is one but I know a couple of local peeps near me who can do it so presume there must be some near you - have a quick look in the good old yellow pages :)

as far as i know the only place you can get them from is the dealerships as there cut and the basic code is done in germany. You cant obtain the key number via audi anyways so it would be a direct copy of your current one which are never perfect as yours is a laser cut key the machines to cut them wont be a laser. Also from experience of aftermarket keys for mk4 golfs polos etc they are crap losing coding etc no where near the life span !!
