Ian_rogers 0 Posted September 22, 2010 Report Share Posted September 22, 2010 A few months bk I was loosing coolant, I found the leaking pipe (crack pipe to oil cooler) and replaced it along with a metal crack pipe but i still seem to be loosen coolantWhen I got home from work today i had a look under the bonnet to see if there were any immediate signs of leakage which there were none.I felt the upper n lower pipes that go to the rad n both were rock solid, I then noticed the exp tank was showin empty (I filled it up this morn), I undone the tank and the level shot bk up to maxTo me this seem wrong??What prob do I have? All help appreciatedThanks Link to post Share on other sites

bonesvr6 0 Posted September 22, 2010 Report Share Posted September 22, 2010 look on the left side of the engine where the pulleys are, see if its leaking out between the head and the block, mines doing the same and its leaking from there, got no overheating troubles either but it is pressurising the water system. just about to get round to doing the head gasket on it, should hopefuly be able to get it done next week Link to post Share on other sites
