Hello all. After spending lots of money on all kinds of bits to try and get my car running right, I'm still having no luck. If I clear the fault codes with VAGCOM, the car runs OK for a while until the lambda learned part load in group 4 on VAGCOM get's to -25% When I'm driving the car around the lambda regulation tends to stay at about -25% unless I've got my foot down and then it hovers around 0%. I've checked around most of the hoses in the engine bay looking for vacuum leaks but can't get this fault fixed. The only fault codes I get are:-

I've fitted new lambda, MAF, air filter, plugs, leads, coolant temp sensors (all genuine apart from filter)

My car is OBD2 and supercharged. Vince remapped it in June and I've had this problem since August.

Sorry it's so long winded but I'm getting desperate now. It's really annoying!!!

Thanks in advance,

Gaz.

Standard brown injectors. There on the way back from ultrasonic cleaning at the min and I should have them fitted tomorrow sometime. Ive also fitted a brand new throttle body (genuine) just in case any of the idle sensors or TPS wasplaying up. Before fitting the new TB, I already tried adapting the old one in group 98 on vagcom. It said adaption OK but the butterfly seemed to judder rather than sweep?

Run the car up to temperature and With VAG COM clear the fault codes, even if none appear.

Look at block 99, box 4. This tells you if closed loop lambda control is active or not.

When it becomes active, then look at box 3 of block 99, this is live lambda trim.

Take a note of these values.

Put the standard chip back into the ECU and let it idle up to temperature

Let us know what you find.

I've not got the standard chip. When Vince remapped the car, he never give me a standard chip. I'm going back down to him on Wednesday to see if I can get this problem sorted. If my injectors come back today, I'll get it back together and get you the readings. Ive checked them before, just can't remember the values!
