Nero Mk 2 8
well,Little progress report and a few pics.Over the last 3 days I have stripped the mk2 our and started getting the mk3 stuff in.So Far the mk3 dash has been trimmed and fettled into place, the engine is in and bolted up(not wired up)Couple of obstacles, We all know that the driver side chassis leg has to be bent to allow space, but as im using a auto box, the passenger one has to be hammered out of shape a little also.Broke a brake pipe also so gonna re-plumb all of the brake line with fresh copper pipe.any way, here are a couple of pictures.http://s1042.photobucket.com/albums/b429/nero1701/Mk2%20vr6%20progress/
Nero Mk 2 8
Today,I had to strip out the mk2 and the mk3 steering column and swap the ignition barrels and the internals from the steering rack so that the mk3 one bolts up into the same place as the mk2 used to.Also started fabing mounts for the dash.Does anyone have a drawing/dimensions of the front engine mount for these mk2 conversions?
