heated seats don`t work

i`m getting power to & from the switches so it`s not the fuse,

or swich

think it could be the relay but where is this located,

how do u tell the diff between realays for indicators,wipers&

seats,how mutch & do they just plug in?

there is a relay located under each seat. i'd check them first. they just plug in and out

Could you give a more precise location for the relays, i can feel where the plug goes in but not the relay. Cheers

IIRC, it's near the left-hand side and pulls out rearwards.

You can check for operation of the relay by *slowly* turning up the heater knob (with the ignition on) and listening for the 'click' coming from underneath the appropriate seat. If you have perfect silence, you should be able to hear it easily.

Thanks Nick, i found the relays and they are both clicking. Can they be operating but still causing the problem? Neither seat gets warm in any area, hope it's not the elements

i dont think mine work, i thought they did and now they dont although there is a few things to check is there ne def things to tell me wats wrong.i didnt really undersand the box bit

i'm sure i saw a guide on fixing them on there not too long ago. I think what usually happens (if its not swithes/relays etc.) is that part of the element burns out or gets damaged, causing a break in the circuit. they can be replaced or better still, repaired by attaching in another bit of wire between the borken part to complete the circuit.
