garrett281083 0
Took revenge on a clio 172 which clearly had uprated brakes, exhaust etc. tried to pull away off a roundabout both at standstill. He cudnt shake me, then moved aside and i waved and dissapeared laughing my head off. What a fun day, with a 325 bmw and a 06 3ltr tdi audi getting owned as well.

garrett281083 0
No mate its n/a but im told by the vr6 specialist garage that its the fastest n/a k2 theyve driven. i had nothing to do with it, just bought it like it is and added few ligh mods like exhaust, 6 branch, decat, induction, leads etc. but it does go well. 7 weeks now till i turbo it. cant wait. Then i can start racing some bigger fish. For now im happy with owning a clio sport that prob had 200bhp plus under his bonnet. and still got owned, i wonder if hes put the french tin can on ebay and purchased himself a vr.if not im sure sum of you guys will gladly whoop his a/s till he does .. jimmyb 2
lmao, nicee i asked that as my mate used to have a 172 or 182 ( i forgot) and i was about the same as him to be honest, although i had a go in his car a few times and it was BORING! i hated it,(and so did he) lol
garrett281083 0
have you got a mk 3, what bhp you got. I think the engine pulls better in the mk2 from what iv seen and read. not sure of the weight diff. I had alot of power left when i was behind him. i was lettin the power on and off to bully him out the way, as his tin can was revin its tits off with no torque wotsoever. if he would of been alongside me, he would of got left right from the start. I was shocked at how easy i went past. as i no there quite a quick little car.not had mine dynod yet, but i must be on the 200 mark to be killing that so easy.
jimmyb 2
yes mk3 standard now,,when i was playing with the clio i had another vr6 what had a filter and exhaust, ohh and 2 passengers,he had 1,i was still pleased cus he spent about 6k on it,i just bought mine for 700 id like to say i can imagine a vr in a mk2 as ive owned both mk2 gti`s and vr6`s but i cant imagine it still
garrett281083 0
your welcome to have a go in mine m8, your only 30 min away.iv not driven a mk3 so i cant compare it. iv found out that the mk2 with vr lump in, actually only weighs 1080. 70kgs more than a normal gti mk 2. so if im running near 200 its not bad power to weight ratio.iv got mine partially stripped out, only in the back though. i dont want to ruin a nice gti lol.just needs that turbo in 7 weeks. shud make a great x mas present.from me to me. the beauty of being single with no siblings. lol
Lukey. 381
thats a power to weight of 188bhp per tonthe same power in a mk3 is 176bhp per tonall factory stock clio sports (barring the cup models which were 90kg lighter) right through the ages have had a power to weight of +1 or -1 of 160bhp per ton. Its almost like they didnt have a power goal they just had a power to weight goal and when the car inevitably got heavier they just upped the power til it reached 160 per ton again. So thats a good thing for you to remember, you should technically be able to take on any non cup clio sport from 172 to brand new
garrett281083 0
Nice cheers mate, how about the cup version then? or is that outta bounds lol.would be fun to try anyway.
editionmatt 1
the cups are scary little cars! feels like your driving a tin can (french so its inevitable) pretty nippy little things tho and very dangerous on wet corners!
garrett281083 0
so if i push him hard he might spin off and open his baked bean tin up lol. i think my cars down to around 1000kgs after todays serious stripping.thing is golfs look so nice, from mk1 all the way up, clios look like a librarians car with geek onboard signs and pink fluffy dice.
