VR6-DUB 3
Okay my oil cooler on my vr6 has been leaking for sometime now, engine oil drips down on to my engine sump making it look like my engine sump is leaking. My question is how do you know when your oil cooler is not working or needs replacing?I am just thinking to change both rubber seals on the oil cooler one on the front and one on the rear, better idea or to change the complete oil cooler assembly over - which is expensive compared to the the cost of the 2 rubber seals.Any help would be greatfull.Cheers. Lukey. 381
if doing both seals make sure you clean the back up well cos its a right barsteward to get back on with the engine in situe and dirt and crap could get stuck between and not make a good seal
VR6-DUB 3
just change the o rings mate unless the fins are knackerd or the cooler is holed I am guessing once the oil cooler is taken of from the car thats when you could see if the fins are damaged or the cooler is holed?Sorry if it's a daft question what you mean by the cooler is holed?
