can you re map the vr6 ? Been told it does not have a mapable ecu ? If it is possible what gains can i expect i have a standard obd 2 96 vr6

you can re mapp a vr6 you need a socket put in to the ecu then a mapped chip and be fitted ...

DG Autotech do a good VR6 map for £195 inc VAT

That looks intresting may have to get some schimmel 263 and get a map from dg autotech before the ring next year. That seems really cheap.

No point, you'll only see a few hp difference.

It's not what a NA remap is all about. It's all about making it more responsive low down by being a damn site more generous with the ignition advance than VW were ;-)
