Usually takes bout 10 seconds to kick in and steeringwheel is seriously hard to turn...Is this cold weather or low fluid level or shd I be worried.If just low fluid is it as simple to buy some and fill it up my selfMy car is 93 obd1Thanks Link to post Share on other sites

Lukey. 381 Posted November 26, 2010 Report Share Posted November 26, 2010 If you have a look at the oil and its brown it wants replacing, if its still green its ok, if it is low only use vws own green power steering fluid, its not expensive like £7 from dealers and that will do a full replacement, should be vw part either g002 000 or g004 000 Link to post Share on other sites
