Fell in love again

Recommended Posts

Has anybody thought, can't be bothered with my car, start to neglect it. I did, not mechanical, just couldn't be bothered doing the old cleaning. Well my pal is on the look out for a mk2 golf, this seems to of reignited my love for my car, twice last week I polished it, hoovered out today and set the rules to the children about crisp and sweets in the car! God, I love my car!!!

I used to have a Honda accord estate type-s, the one off the domino advert. Had a bit of a set to with the wife about justifying running two cars, so in a drunken stupor, I placed both cars on piston heads, whichever went first, went!

Blimey, no word of a lie, got a phone call about the honda, within 20 minutes of placing the advert, it was sold, £750 more than I paid for it, so the wife was happy! Should be getting a v70 in the new year to ferry my brood of four and wife around!

yeah often went through periods of hating/being fed up with it but it normally only took a quick drive in it for me to fall back in love !! :)

glad you have re-discovered yours mate :)

Last weekend me and the missus took a trip up north in her Pug 308, although I don't particularly like the Pug it sort of made me fall out of love with the VR. Mainly the MPG and the lazy way you dont really drive it you sit in it and get carried along. So much so that I contemplated going for a different car.......Monday drove to work in the VR and decided I needed mental help if I ever think about selling it lol
