swayv6 0 Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 Hi fellow Brits....Having had one ECU stuffed up by a poor solder job here in NZ I am looking for someone in UK to GUARANTEE the correct soldering of a chip holder to an ECU (021906256).Need original chip de-soldering off, then a holder soldering on, then the original chip refitting (just bend legs to make it fit), then the ECU testing to see it works OK. Before sending back to NZ. I have an ECU lined up in UK, just need an address to send it to for solder and test work. Who can you recommend? Many thanks...By the way the stuffed up NZ solder job cost me 400 quid NZ equivalent to put right, need :! ed a new ECU!! Link to post Share on other sites

MK2R32 0 Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 I'd have a word with James at JBS (01246 550400) they have a guy who does all there chip replacements, the guy warranties all his work, and if you have any problem with his work then he will replace they whole ECU, you can't get any better services than that.
