New disks and pads

Time that they were getting changed soon.

What would you recommend?

They are stock 288s atm and im wanting to stay with 288s incase i want ot run 16s (heard not all 16s clear 312s) but always thought it could stop better.

true about the 16's and 312's mate - I always ran the brembo grooved discs and pagid fast road pads and was well happy with them

I was told to avoid drilled becasue they can crack.

Braided hoses make much of a difference?

Any 2pot or 4pot calipers that fit 288s?

I'm running pagid disks and pagid pads , perfect combo stops lovely.

well I never had any probs with them in 5 years and havent heard of any horror stories like that from anyone on here running the brembo ones ??

yeah braided hoses are well worth it for the money mate

I heard grooved were good but not drilled.

Is it worth upgrading the backs or keeping them stabdard? They dont really do that much of the braking do they?

ah ok well mine were just grooved

well I always did as they dont cost much to do and you can often get good deals on a whole kit mate so prob worth it - every little helps ;)

I have bought them from GSF with the club discount in the past but the last lot I got from ebay

I always used EBC stuff on the VR, in both 288 and 312s

Premium members get discount ya see, and i still use their pads now on the R32
