bungy 2
Used the 12v harness as it gives you more range and choice of injectors. 24v is a bit limited.
pfennell 0
understood, i take it is is always best to go large on the injectors saves changing later on,
bungy 2
understood' date=' i take it is is always best to go large on the injectors saves changing later on,[/quote']Matt explained to me and I think I understand correctly. At high rpms the injector is open for such a short amount of time that if it is struggling for fuel demand that's not good where if it is capable of supplying more fuel but is governed to close quicker there is a headroom and safety margin, and like you say better to fit now and adjust ecu to suit with the inlet manifold off than have to remove it again later and strip everything back down. bungy 2
Big thanks to Paul who came round and helped me get the head back on. All torqued up but managed to get the camshaft end cap on before realising I hadn't tightened one of the chain guides up. Good job we had a stop and check.
AJmk2 2
Good to see a lot of effort has been put into this car , you plan to do any track days at all?
bungy 2
Good to see a lot of effort has been put into this car ' date=' you plan to do any track days at all?[/quote']The car is being built to be driven and will slowly evolve over time, hopefully for the best. Did the Nurburg Ring this year and a few visits to Santa pod but no track days. Next year I want to do Gurston Down hill sprint and a couple of track days. Once charged I'd like to see my 1/4 mile time come down some so some trips to Santa Pod and plenty of practice.
