grom 0 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 as title. is there an easy way of getting the battery cable (to amp) through the bulk head?theres a place just behind the expansion tank, had some of the dash off but for the life of me couldnt get it through the other side. there seems to be all maner of guff under the dash preventing me from getting the wire through.any ideas Link to post Share on other sites
frosty_vr6 2 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 i Know What you mean I pulled a little Grommet out under Expantion Tank got screwdriver Carefully poked through the insulation Fed the wire through.Then pulled it through from inside bit of wigglin job done That was with 0 Guage too.. Lukey. 381 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 if you are careful you can just push a rod or something like a bbq skewer through it, to the side of the loom already there, and then gaffer tape the cable to the skewer and pull it back through, much less hassle than removing and refitting that grommet and the hole basically self seals round the cable as the hole is just a tiny poke hole from the skewer.
