dickie_vr6 0 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 my vr seams to start and run and drive fine for 15min then will cut out and wont start for about 10mins...were it losses all spark.. then it will fire and drive but only for a few mins then same againi have all ready replaced the coil leads and plugs and carnt tink what else it could be? UnitedMotorsport 55 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 What year is it?I'd bet its OBD1 and the ECU control relay has had its day.This relay is numbered 109 and is in position 3 (top row, 3rd from the left) of the fusebox. Link to post Share on other sites

sanchez 0 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 I had this problem. eventually put it into the the vw and they said it was the crankshaft or camshaft sensor. (can't remember sorry). I had replaced both (easy job) but had got a faulty part of some crappy Internet site. buy from somewhere decent. Link to post Share on other sites
