VR6Nat 9
I wouldnt if i was you. They arent worth any money anymore due to them goin under. Plus the parts are getting hard to get hold of now.My dad has the V8 MG ZT and he's already run into troubles... Id keep the vr or get a better car than that mate... a step down like that is a BIG step down...
Ben Seabrook 4
okkayy but an MG would be bottom of my list mate !! I would be looking at a Focus or Astra or better yet stay VAG and a mk4 5 door or a Skoda all would be better built than an MG, as Nat says parts would be easier to get and will retain their value better
andynick69 0
just dont get the mg,full stop m8
b19drg 0
Used to work for MG , headgaskets are troublesome and the 120 is massively underpowered !

Lukey. 381
MG engines all are prone to head gasket failurethe MGF got the nickname HGF for a reason :-)
bungy 2
Modify everything on the head to be bolted on using wing nuts, carry spare gaskets and then you can do a crafty head gasket change in the car park when you go shopping, or in the layby when you go to the cash point. Simples....
