Ben Seabrook 4
not a massive difference mate and yes you can put a rado engine into a golf, all Corrado's are obd1 so easiest if your golf is the same
VR6Nat 9
The Golf was 174bhp and the Corrado 190bhp
michael5556 247
What was the difference between them? As in why was there more power in the raddo than golf if they are both same engine? Or are they the 24v?
VR6Nat 9
they aren't. the golf is a 2.8 and the Corrado is a 2.

Lukey. 381
mainly it is 100cc more displacement and the ECU is mapped for 98RON petrol out of the factory, factory golf 2.8 is factory mapped for 95RON, the first thing you want to do when getting a remap is get it mapped to utilise Vpower, it will make more power just off that
jesterwalker69 0
The Golf was 174bhp and the Corrado 190bhpNot all Golfs are 174bhp remember Nat. OBD1's were but OBD2's were anything from 174 - above 200 in some lucky cases
