Udi Siag 0 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 ((ONLY)) when i start the car in the morning .the oil start to leak , and after only 1 min , the oil stop leaking.and won't leak again. is it the cooler leaking? it's ((ONLY)) when i start the car in the morning .if it's so , then should i change the whole part , or can i do something else ? legvw 0 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 Katies vr did this over xmas, and yes, its probably the oil cooler has come loose. Just nip it up, don't over-tighten it, but if that doesn't cure it you may need to buy the seals for it. Link to post Share on other sites

If it is the cooler which is common, I did a little guide on here including tools and part numbers of the 2 big o ring type rubber seals, I'll find it out tonight if I get a chance.
