HAMMER_VR6 0
On my 97 vr6 when you open bonnet, near the hinge on the right hand side is a short strap probably about 6". I think it must be an earth bolted to bonnet and wing.Is it an earth, mine snapped in half
CALICO 130
yes it an earth you may also have noticed the wires going to your screen jets for heating them they probably wont work with the earth cable broken

psilosimon 8
Mine was also broken so I undid the two bolts, cut off some of the black plastic coating with a Stanley blade, prised open the connector with a small screwdriver, pulled out the old bit of wire with a pair of pliers, lined up the new exposed bit and bashed flat with a hammer, re-fitted bolts to bonnet, ten minutes max, Easy! CALICO 130
i was stupid enough to buy heated washer jets from ebay then found mine was already fitted with them but my earth strap was broken lol
Lukey. 381
you would be lucky to find a set of heated jets that the elements still work in, ive been hunting for a set that work for ages, all have broken elements
