Recommended Posts

Due to company relocation and being offered a large sum for redundancy I have to get my PC at home working again (currently using works pc) who is the best valkue for money provider at the moment?

Who do you guys recommend I use?

Also as i'm going to get a fairly larger payout what should i go for with the tuning mods? I've already got a shrick (to be fitted) but not sure to go s/c or t/c, or go the whole hog and chuck in a R32 lump? Suggestions please?

Any suggestions :?

well the little play ive had with my turbo, id go for that cos when it kicks in at 3000 revs the noise is just crazy, cant wait to have it mot'd tomorrow and get the tax so i can drive it. gonna be scary.

R32 idea sounds good though, dont think theres many mk3 R32's. in the world.

Go with dell as annoying as their sales staff are (call centers in india) you won't find better value for money. I just got mine this week and a very good spec. Engine wise I'd say t/c or s/c as putting a R32 lump in you may as well sell yours and get the real deal coz a conversion will set you back at least £7000, which I find is just not worth it.

Make sure you dont get capped- theres a limit to what you can download with a lot of the bigger companies, unless you pay a premium. As for PC's Dell are ok, Acer are better value for money (we digress:)) and provide good support. Isnt there a lot of mods need to the VR6 lump for it to accept a turbo?- id love one! Supercharger is probably cheaper. R32 lump....with a turbo mmmmmmmmm

Don't touch Wanadoo with a bargepole, if ANYTHING goes wrong then you're f*cked as the idiots in their call centre are f*cking morons. I was without broadband for a whole month late last year all because they didn't want to pay for an engineer to come up and fix my line which they were contractually obliged to do, in the end I cancelled my contract with them and went with Pipex who got the problem fixed within 3 days.

Then on the 25th November, Wanadoo helped themselves to £83.74 out of my bank account that I STILL have not got back after 15 phone calls and 2 and a half hours worth of being on the phone to them about it.

Their connections seem to be alright, but their customer support is by far the worst I've ever experienced, and I've given them next Friday as a deadline before I take legal action against them.

Pipex is £33.99 for 1 meg unlimited broadband, not the cheapest, but they'll look after you and make sure you get the best service possible.

I've just made myself all angry again.
