gentlemen

bit of a story so have patience.

a noise developed in the vr the other day. stripped the belt off because it sounded like a bearing. i found it was the alternator. got a price£143 plus vat. decided to strip it down to have a look and i found it was the plastic runner that the bearing sat into that was located in the housing. anyway i got a new one and fitted it and it ran perfect, on idle.

now i dont know if these two items are related but i took it down the road to test drive it and it almost felt like the engine was about to seize and the oil light came on briefly.then it was fine. then it done it again. now previously before the alternator fault this loss of power possible sieze occured a couple of times before when travelling along mainly when the power was applied.

please help me i have visions of new engines when i go to bed and it scares me.
