lukavr6 0
hi!quick question: can i put a 215/40/17 tyre on a 8*17 rim on my rrado? or should i go with 205/40/17? i get the 215's for half the price, so what do you guys think? which is the more appropriate one?cheers

CALICO 130
http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.htmlto keep the speedo accurate 195 40 17 but you can have your speedo recalibrated so you could run whatever you like the look of best i think 215's would look a bit fat on a rado
lukavr6 0
well in the tuv i need to pass our mot, the declared tire is 205/40/17. but i can modify the tuv, so that is no problem.195 on a 8j rim is a bit of for me-the tire would be stretched way to much...any pics of 215/40/17 on a 8j rim? lukavr6 0
nobody runing on 215?
coullstar 2
215 is fine and a lot better than a stretched 195 IMO. I run 205's and there still slightly stretched. Speedo will read slighty out but it will only be a few mph.
lukavr6 0
well it's the height of the tire i am concerned about. dont want my rrado to look like an offroader...
