vr6Bass 0
brought the turbo of a friend for a nice price, was wondering how it would perform on a vr6, what type of power it would make and how much lag to expect from it(6)
legvw 0
Seems like a good compromise between the 35r and the 40r, maybe laggy if you run alot of boost, but on low boost shouldn't be too bad.Power wise, its up to you!How much did you pay for it?
donpulsar 0
With an ar of 0.99 wont that take an age to spool up? My Pulsar runs a GT2871R with a 0.63 ar and that spools up by 2000 rpm and doesn't stop til the redline...I aint a turbo ninja by any stretch of the imagination but even on a 2.8 I can see that being a tad on the laggy side! Might be better off swapping the housing to give a smaller ar and less lag?
matty.vrt 120
The housing will be fine you should make full boost by 4000rpm
vr6Bass 0
4000rpm is fine by me, i thought it would of been a bit more laggy than that.... do you reckon i'll be able to squeeze more than 500hp out of it? big numbers i know lol
matty.vrt 120
Easy ive seen 600bhp from my gt3582r
FishWick 21
Full boost by 4500 I'd say....72.5mm wheel turning 88mm comp, with a 99 back housing. No way 4K.1.06 35R hits 15psi by 4K. 3788 won't.
