chief ka kar 0
If you are getting your fans on by linking them to the batt, then it should'nt be your module. I thought they was all to do with oil temps and so on. I have just had a load of trouble with my fans not working temp gauge not working. What i did was replace the blue 2 pin sensor and the 4 pin yellow temp sensor all located in the thermostat housing. Still nothing till i reset the ecu and now my fans work but am still puzzeled with the temp gauge. Hope some of this may help
Lukey. 381
the two sensors at the front are high/low oil pressure sensors and the smaller back one is for oil temperature on MFA
CALICO 130
fuses may be ok but is the module ok have you tried substituting it with a known working one
chief ka kar 0
I thought if the module was faulty then the fans would not work at all.But he says he as had the fans working.
makster28 0
thanks for info guys,i have just bought a new thermo housing as the old one packed in and the car was over heating because i had no fans working but after checking all the sensors the yellow one had a shoddy repair around the o ring looked like plasterseen but also looked in bad condtion anyway, and the brown ac sensor was badly corroded and after shakin it theres something come loose inside,as for the blue one being the ecu i think this ok i guess due to the car car running etc,i have tried ordering these 2 sensors with no joy one guy said he could get the yellow one but its now changed colour but herd threads about this being the wrong one,for got to mention also soon as the ac is turned on the fuse blows instantly and knowing this is linked to the fans im pretty sure the brown ac sensor is my problem,if anyone knows a web site or number were i can get hold of these sensors that would be great, any more info much apreciated,il change the modulater after the sensors are changed if i have no joy:@
chief ka kar 0
I got my rplacement yellow sensor from eurocarparts. At first they gave me one with the blue band which didnt work then they gave me one with a yellow band which works the fans. But like i said am still have problem with my tamp gauge .It may be the sensor am not sure the main thing for me at the mo is my fans are working when they should be. Ring them and ask for the yellow one online does not give you the 2 . Let me know how you get on i may be able to sort my temp gauge out with something you have done

chief ka kar 0
If you need the fans to work just pull the plug on the fan switch which is located at the top of your rad black plug it will be. Then get a piece of wire and bridge the pins on the plug. This should help you get the mot if you cant fix it, Try diff pins you will get a low fan speed and a high one. makster28 0
finaly got my replacment module off ebay for a tenner lol and it works but still have no fans i tried bridgin the conections in the rad conerctor the usual way and still nothing just blows the fuse so i let the car heat up at a stand still to 80 90 degrees to see if the fans would kick in then what seemed like the moment the fans were guna kick in the fuse poped, guna try new rad sensor tomoz but cant see it making any diffrence as i am getting nothing on the rad test unless i run 2 wires from fans to battery then they work, its driving me up the wall wish i adent of got the dam thing now
