r7jay 0
Got a obd1 corrado engine in a mk2. The car is supercharged with a vf conversion, late last year the head gasket gave up. Oil and water was mixing. Got a local garage to Take off the head. Got the head rebuilt and skimmed, made sure the engine was at TDC when reassembling. Fired up the car running lumpy does not idle wants to cut out. Stealth racing done the map changed the camshaft sensor, maf and lambda before the gasket went. I bought a second hand isv. Stealth is too far for me as based in London. Before the head gasket went car ran fine apart from over heating. in traffic the water temp reached 100, on motor way was at 70 (installed a 70 thermostat). The radiator is a corrado with twin fans wired up the fan to high speed, noticed the aux water pump is not connected. The garage don't know what to do. I'm thinking to do a remap and change the timing through the map???Maybe the timing is out??
