hello :-)

dont worry about him... we're here to keep the site tidy and if there's lots of threads about the same thing it can get a little annoying ;-).... anyway...

vagcom http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VAG-COM is a pretty handy windows based diagnostics and is free from http://www.ross-tech.com/ but you will need to purchase a decent cable as some of the cheap ones dont actually work

which cable you buy depends on whether you have an obd1 or 2 engine http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?138840 as the port is different

theres some people who can help you specifically here VAG-COM http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?146266

vagcom codes can also be found here http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?161678 but you'll need to be a premium member to see those last bits :-)

we are also running vagcom sessions at our mega meet in the summer but I imagine you cant wait til then but feel free to come along anyway! http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?419993

hope that helps :-)
