bentert 0
Just looking atm. But I think my car may be producing a little to much smoke on start up in the mornings? It tends to bit a little smokey until the car has got to its normal running temperature? Is this normal?I was thinking about maybe replacing the spark plugs, and HT leads, and I think the exhaust is a bit iffy as I sweat its knocking a little bit!?What do you think?Tony
tjsmudger 2
Mine is always like that till it warms up and doesn't smoke in the summer months!
VR6Pete 1,455
until the car has warmed up, it will overfuel a little which is why its not recommened to run low temp thermostats at it runs the 'cold map' for longer - thus causing overfueling for longer..do you get any piston slap on startup at all? What colour is the smoke?
