bungy 2
With the cam cover being made of aluminium and subject to some heat how have people painted theirs? I'm thinking etch primer, primer, body colour and laquer but will it blister or peel? Any pictures, hints or tips would be good.
michael5556 247
Maybe some high temperature paint? Try that and then just a light spray of laquer so it's easier to clean
bungy 2
Don't really want to go that route as I want it a colour match for the body work really. If not then a completely different colour for the contrast.

bungy 2
Mine is Indigo Blue Pearl which is a really dark blue. I am going to paint my strut brace body colour when it arrives on monday and if I have to use different paint then I'll code brake callipers and cam cover all the same. bungy 2
Didnt know there was an upper....every day is a school dayVery reasonable price wise aswell. I'll take some photo's and give you the part numbers when I've got them home on monday if you want. I spent just over £130 today and ordered upper and lower brace, sun glass holder and all the fixings for the braces.

b road blaster 0
well last time i asked about have some bits done they said they will do any colour and if i wanted to supply them with a paint code they could do it so may be worth a look as it will take the heat no problem and very hard wearing
bungy 2
I didn't realise they could match by paint code so i'll go and have a look either tomorrow or monday.
