jay1981 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 Hi,I have an obd1 vr6, it was misfiring and on closer inspection one of the leads was arching close to the spark plug. So I replaced the leads and plugs but it has started again. To be honest I used the cheapest parts I could find, is this the reason why it has started again and should i by more quality parts or is it caused by something else? HAMMER_VR6 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Share Posted March 8, 2011 also had this exact problem, replaced with genuine leads and solved the problem.Buy quality leads and you should be sorted.Also how are you fitting/removing the HT leads? do you use the correct tool or have u damaged them whilst installing them??
