grantnunn 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 my right hand door speaker hasnt worked since i bought the car so i replaced it, still nothing.. ive just ran a cable from the speaker up through the dash to the back of the stereo, 2 questions...If i plug this cable into the back of my head unit will i cut out my dash tweeter?? also where do i plug the right hand door speaker cable? im guessing its somewhere into the brown connector?? ian_GTI 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 Yes you will loose the tweeter, if you google image for pin outs for a iso connector it will show you, I'm on my phone so I can't post a diagram sorryBut they will be the top and bottom on the inner two wires of the plugAlso if you take your tweeter out you could run it from there as the tweeter has a crossover in it and the oem loom goes to the tweeter then the door Link to post Share on other sites
grantnunn 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2011 its just occured to me, the right hand tweeter is still working so does that mean that it must be the wire from the tweeter to the speaker as its the right hand door speaker that isnt working, does that sound right?
