ROBSVENTO 0 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Evening allWanted to lower my vento but cant find any 60mm springs for a vento and i was wondering if vw mk3 golf vr6 spriongs will fit a vento vr6 ?To me the suspension all looks the same as a golf but i want to ask before i order...Cheers guys.. gaz.veedub 0 Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 yes mate they will all fit,ive had every single combo known to man on mine and never had a problem, but if yours is a VR6 id recommend you get the MK3 VR6 springs,are you just doing the springs or are you doing the shocks aswell? ROBSVENTO 0 Posted March 22, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Prob just do the springs, i know its the wrong way but i just cant afford shocks after doing timing chain, head gasket, clutch, gear box and a heater matrix lol all in 2 weeks...I had sum cheap coil overs on my old mk3 golf, 129.99 delivered from germany, they where cheap but i had it 12 months with no dramas, was thinking off going coil overs again lol...You got any shocks or springs for sale matey ??cheers Link to post Share on other sites
DanH 1 Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 For few quid more u can get some of belgiums finest height adjustable coil overs.....Off ebay...had mine on nearly 2 years, wound right down, I've even carried a FULL vr6 engine& ancillaries in the back of my car and the're still going strong. Quick delivery too, plus that way u get 4 new shocks and springs. And the ride/handling won't be any worse than 4 cheap lowering springs on old mismatched shocks.....do ur top mounts while ur there to, mine are rubbing the bonnet but I'm too lazy to take it all off again now Link to post Share on other sites
