crish72 0
Problem been developing over the last couple of weeks...sometimes bad, sometimes fine but it's definately got worse in the last few days. When the car has been stood for say over an hour or overnght it struggles to start, taking 5-10 seconds of turning over until it starts then it briefly sometimes sounds lumpy...Once the car has run it'll start no problems..New starter motor about 10k agoNew Battery similarNew plugs and leadsOriginal coil pack re-fitted about 6 weeks ago as the newer replacement one packed in.No fault codesIts a 97 VR with 115k on.I only do about two 5 mile runs per day.I'm possibly thinking the battery could be shot due to the constant stop starting?Any other suggestions as of where to look?CheersChris

crish72 0
Just to close this thread off..It wasnt starting due to a lack of fuel pressure, in turn due to the fuel filter rusted and leaking petrol.Fitted new filter last night... beautiful... like a new car!!
