greenb 0 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Share Posted April 13, 2011 hi,ive got a 1987 mk2 jetta vr6 fully wide tracked with serious front suspension issues a im after some info on what sort of suspension i need.i think that a mk2 set up would be best so it fits nice onto the car, but would they bolt up onto the mk 3 hubs.cheers ben Link to post Share on other sites

It just sat really stupid for camberto bring the original geometry back you need:MK2 :Control armsInner tie rodsInner CV shaftsMatch you ball joint to knuckle you are using. If you want to keep it simple use MK2 knuckle. If you want the bigger brakes use MK3 Jetta.They bolt up the same way on the shock absorber.You can use and works fine MK2 shocks, but use like posted above MK3 vr6 coil springs and newer style upper mounts.If you want 288mm brakes http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?493581 Link to post Share on other sites
