bungy 2
You could buy a complete donor car for as little as £500 sterling. Sounds like a lot of work and would probably work out easier to import one.

rodney 17
Rather than the main deralers we tensd to use companies such as Euro car partshttp://www.eurocarparts.com/and GSFhttp://www.gsfcarparts.com/of course the other option will be to use uk/german ebay etc.I am sure someone can let you have part numbers if you want to source directly from VW.I assume you will need the entire dash and mounting kits. Pedal assembly, Steering rack, and of course all mounts for each of those... I am not sure if things like your heater matrix ect will need relocating. It may be worth sourcing a UK and a US manual so you can compare the drawings. As some one mentioned. It may be better to find a good car for £300-500 and ship it over. That way you have all the parts you will ever need. If you were to look in the for sale section on here then I hope you could buy with confidence and also perhaps ask the moderator team/other forum members to help out and check the car is as advertised befpre you make the deal.. I am sure I speak for all when I say everyone on here is willing to help out if they can...One final thought... is it worth getting a very high spec UK car rather than convert and add the items of your own to the UK car to get what you want, then sell your USA car?? Just a thought
