dan_a 1
Hi all,Some advice if I may.....My car has a strange noise coming from the front of the engine. At first, I thought the noise was coming from the left side of the engine where the pulleys are. However, I had a mechanic friend have a look and we took the airbox out and took off the serpentine belt and checked all the pulleys and all are fine, so i know it's not a water pump, a/c pump or tensioner pulley bearing. My friend thinks the noise could be coming from nearer the front of the engine under the intake manifold near injector 1. It kinda sounds like a bearing or could be a vacuum noise. It only makes the noise when the engine is up to temp and idling. Even then it's intermittent and I cannot pin point what it may be!Sorry for the long thread! Just trying to cover everything! Anyone have any ideas of what it might be?Thanks, Dan

dan_a 1
It kinda sounds like a worn bearing but it's hard to pinpoint. My car is a 1995 OBD2.
