Inner door skin after i had replaced the clips and cable reel assembley. Now i have a working window again and dont have duct tape holding it in place. Next weekend i will be replacing my rear anti roll bar drop links and giving it a good clean ready for billing.

Yea so many electrical conections and trying to remeber were everything go's back lol. Hardest part was fitting the cable into all the runners as you have to really strech it over the lobes then rotate each one so the cable falls into place.

Old and new drop links side by side. Old ones were nakered and had far to much play.

You can put the de-cat on and live with the management light until you get it mapped. A glass plug is worth the small investment or the Stig will keep poking your rubber grommet through.

That just sounds all sorts of wrong!

Looks pukka though Adam, alot hard work gone into that finish.

  • 4 weeks later...

Removed my old alternator tonight and tried for 2.5hrs to refit new one with no luck. Paul is going to pop round in the morning to have a go. So annoying that i can not for the life of me align the new alternator with the rear holes. Hopefully i will have it back together early tomorow morning. Then just need to figure out a way to remove battery clamp as its rusted solid and now just spins with the sleeve underneath.

Well all sorted paul pop round saturday morning and noticed the alternator was catching on the bracket so we needed to shave some of the alternator away for it to sit correctly. Also drilled out the bolt for the battery and will look for a new battery tray and bolt to replace the old one.

Car is now working and great to be driving again.
