v6horse 1 Posted April 27, 2011 Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 Hi guys , I wanna run a short runner on my vr6 obd1 12v motor ,My question to you is what will I need to relocate and to where , ithe motor isn't turbo or super charged and I know I will lose some torque but not realy that bothered as somewhere down the line I will supercharge the motor .Any pictures or explanations on what needs to be done would be greatCheers all Link to post Share on other sites

Nice linear power delivery and pulls loads harder at the top end, even with standard cams. People say they lose all torque, but they don't. That's just people who who've never tried it talking sheet. With my schimmel one, you lose just ~ 10lb/ft at around 3800rpm, but gain over 20hp past 5500rpm. Link to post Share on other sites

FishWick 21 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Ah right, sorry, forgot to say I converted my Corrado to OBD2, so no ISV necessary! ISV plumbing and pipework is easy to make up though. I did it with the turbo and it worked fine. Link to post Share on other sites
