DrRich 1
With the two cut-outs uppermost on the plug, and the metal spring clip lower, looking from the back of the plug (ie where the wires enter it), the colours are:from LEFT to RIGHT:brown with yellow stripebrown with blue stripered with blue striperedThis is for an OBD1 engineSorry for the blurry cameraphone shot!HTH! DrRich 1
By the way, sorting out the connector is much easier when you have the right tool. The Laser tool I bought worked perfectly, much better than tweezers, sharpened screwdrivers, windscreen wiper inserts (yes really!) etc - ask me how I know...Think this cost me about 8 quid:Here's a link to one like mine:[link]http://www.lasertools.co.uk/item.aspx?cat=524&item=3175Cheers
