I think they'll look the bollox on a black Golf, could be a biased opinion as i've got them myself, not sure they're so easy to find in RHD though. And i personally think they're the best looking ones out there IMOH, MK4 look ones i find a bit too fussy with the indicator bulbs in betweenheadlamps, but each to their own. antera309 3 Posted February 22, 2005 Report Share Posted February 22, 2005 Most of the "Euro Angel Eyes" kits have a LHD beam pattern, certainly all the ones on eBay do. Not a problem if you are happy with refitting the stock lights every year for your MOT.The angel eyes units have the added advantage of having indicator units inside as well (like the Mk4) so you can smooth off your bumper too for a cleaner look to the front of your car.Personally, I like the ones with the black background. Don't think they look chav at all, well, not on a Golf anyway. If you can get the glass off, the black backing can even be painted in body colour, giving you the look of twin headlamps underneath a glass cover (like the Ferrari 360). Not sure whether anyone has done this yet - all the more reason to try it!! Definitely a job for the bodyshop though.[ Edited Tue Feb 22 2005, 05:00PM ] Link to post Share on other sites
