bentert 0
My 1996 OBD1 VR6 Highline is playing up recently. As of latte, its needed at least 2-3 turns on the key to get her started. But yesterday and today I noticed a loss of power whilst in 2-3 gear. Then today it started to play up when the Mrs was out in it, she thinks it was misfiring, however when I took her for a spin, everything seemed to be fine????Any possibilities?Whatcha reakon? ads_vr6 0
sounds like either the plugs, ht leads or the coil pack to me, if it was misfiring they are the first places i'd look, check the plugs, sounds like thats whats going on especially if its hard to start could be a dodgy plug or lead all fairly easy to sort out yourself. HAMMER_VR6 0
Could also be fuel starvation. If it was miss firing because of the leads you would still expect it to start, but if the fuel aint flowing it wont. think you can check the pressure in your fuel rail by loosening a grub screw in the rail.
