Gazbarber1982 3
Yeah it will a little bit. I had a set of Kahn alloys on mine for a week, they slowed me down by around 20mph top end!! Didn't stay on for long!
CALICO 130
If it slowed down your top speed it should have improved your acceleration. If you run the correct size tyres you shouldnt notice a great difference
cabrioman 6
its all to do with the rolling distance of the wheel so if you can keep that the same from the standard wheels to the new wheels the speedo read out should stay the same ....
Gazbarber1982 3
If it slowed down your top speed it should have improved your acceleration. If you run the correct size tyres you shouldnt notice a great differenceAs Tony said above, rolling resistance plus the weight of the wheels. Makes it harder for the engine to turn them. I went back to solitudes and now I'm on 16" BBS! I'd still have 15's if the brakes would fit in them!!

Lukey. 381
i run 17" BBS RCs with 205/40 tyres and the acceleration is not blunted at all, or noticeably anyway, it makes about 1.5% difference. These wheels are also quite a bit lighter than my original 15s so technically theres less unsprung weight. The bigger wheels also handle the appaling bumpy roads much better
